Preparation for the course, including exam technical skill, has to be complete because there is no airy, flexible period in which to "fix problems" or slow down. If you cannot be available for a class or an exam, don't take this course in Block Week format. If you have not done the reading and online exam practice by the first class, drop the course. If you have any doubts about this course, drop it on the first day. The week will pass in a whiff and there just will be no opportunity to back track, or to render remedial assistance.

I'm off to go see an advisor today to figure out a new plan/schedule for my prereqs, hopefully one in which does not require me to take this Block Week bullshit. This guy is seriously scaring the hell outta me! =(
