Sooo sick! Artist Dustin Cantrell has taken the Kidrobot Dunny toy and fused it together with the Tesla-inspired plasma globe, creating this badass custom toy. The plasma globe was invented by Nicola Tesla in 1894 and it uses a coil to excite the element inside an incandescent lamp. It's basically that dome you love to play with (no, not the static electricity one, but we all know how much you love to play with that one) at the Science Center, where when you touch it you ignite the electricity within and it creates a colorful visual. Anyways, it was such a neat discovery, but somehow more than a century later it's resorted to being sold at places like Spencer's =/... DC wanted to do something cooler with the plasma globe and thus the birth of the Plasma Dunny! So far, only 4 have been created, and ToyCyte is giving away 1 of them, and the other 3 (pictured above) will be up for the world to fight over. I want one!
