Once you get your other cam and learn a few more things about photography, or even now, if you learn some things about certain settings of your camera, you'll realize you can take very decent pictures with a P&S camera, regardless if you had a 10.0 MP camera or a 7.0 MP camera.
True, can't a girl want an upgrade though? =P
