GGGB Weekend Wrap-up #4: Role Reversal

Wow, just got home from work; I ended up giving James and Megan rides home since we all work in the mall (Tristan and Suzy Shier, respectively) which added on an extra hour before I got home for the slight detour. It was nice to catch up though. Anyways I'm tiiired, I'm laying in bed but yet still can't fall asleep. Meanwhile, the boyf is on the phone watching some kind of comedy laughing out loud sporadically. Cutie.



When I said on Thursday that my weekend was "looking to suck", I was spot on... my ACCT midterm Saturday morning destroyed me. ACCT is all about balancing; it is your worst nightmare to finish a balance sheet or income statement to find out in the end that your numbers don't match up. That's what happened to me =(. Glad it's over with though? And then after finishing up the usual 2-9PM shift from work, little did I know that I was going to be driving home in the worst blizzard ever!!! It was nuts, what normally is a 7-minute (speeding) drive home, turned out to be a half-hour struggle thru Alaska, added to the fact that I was going about 10km and couldn't see shit. Thankfully everybody was home and safe when I got there, except for my parents. Dad was out in the NE, and Mom was playing Mahjong at her friends house. Talk about role reversal; the kids at home watching Disturbia (so good) in the living room, staying up late worrying, and calling them to tell them that it's okay if they want to wait out the storm, hehe.



Lost an hour due to Spring Forward, so sad because that hour could have been used to sleep in longer. Regardless, from the moment I woke up Sunday morning to the time that I went to bed, I was literally working on my FREN 215 research paper on a fictional trip to Madagascar that whole time. My francais is a little bit rusty, which is probably another reason why I took so long to finish it. That's what I get for leaving it for the day before it's due at 10AM the next morning. B4d me, don't do that next time.



Looking forward to Tuesday's with Mina tmrw; I'm in need to clear my head, it worked so hard this weekend! Expect the posts to come to be less writing.
