Once again, the Bonadrag boutique never fails. I remember when I found the site way back when I first started blogging, this snake vertebrae necklace by Erica Weiner was my favorite among the many things that caught my eye in the Flair section:

GGG Consumer No. 1: KO Flatte Nail Polish
Knock Out nail polish in "Calamine"
Finally got around to painting my nails a matte nude color over the weekend... doing your right hand is such a bitch. I seriously contemplated in frustration (after having re-done them like 3 times) to just bring the bottle down to my guilty-pleasure nail salon at the bottom of the hill and have them done for me, haha. Oh the always existent debate between spending time vs. spending money.

Just LiKe New
Last year, Raymond and I purchased for eachother a couple of matching Unearthen charms; if you haven't heard of it yet, you may have seen attempts and imitations of the idea floating around in Etsy shops and the like. Simply put, they consist of beautiful crystals encased in a spent bullet. It's a rather juxtaposing creation and we were all over it. In particular, we had ordered the .22 caliber bullet and Topaz crystal (both of our birthstones) combination from Bona Drag, one of my favorite online shops for flair.

I'm Not Even 21 Yet
These were all brought into my possession because my Dad decided to give my sister and I a brownie to split at Crossiron Mills last weekend. I assure you this does not happen everyday and I am one of those people that feel much better justifying my purchases knowing that I earned the money used to buy them... but I caved in this time. It makes me feel a little better knowing that I got enough bang for my buck ($50, to be exact) doing so at FXXI. Anyways, I think he knew right away what he was getting himself into because that night when we came home he greeted us with a "So, what did you girls buy?", which in turn lead to a mini show&tell in the kitchen and a couple of kisses on his cheek before bedtime. That and the fact that he didn't ask for the change, haha:

Reduce, Reuse, Recyle
Wilfred sheer draped-armhole tank and bralette underneath, AA mesh bodysuit, the Boyf's Sevens turned cut-offs, and the girliest bracelet I own.
I've always wanted a pair of SFAM denim shorts, and regardless of these being slightly huge around the waist on me I'm rather satisfied with them. Besides, like I've said before: If you're gunna do the "Boyfriend" thing, what better than to legitimately use your Boyfriend's Things?

Everything's Gunna Be Alright
It is with no doubt that my go-to spot for when I need a quick-fix of online, "wishlist" shopping is Oak NYC. Seriously, not only do they carry all of the sickest brands from A-Z (Acne to Vena Cava) but they are amazing at updating their stock, I kid you not, on a daily basis. Plus, I'm a big fan of the way they photograph their pieces. Could almost classify it as editorial. Anyways, when I heard OAK was launching this new Every One is A.OK concept shop that would consist of specifically picked mixed & vintage pieces that wouldn't kill your bank account, I knew everyone was going to love it & the offerings would be amazing. Of course they did not disappoint; here are a few of the many that caught my eye:

Matthew Williamson for H&M
I feel like I'm the very last one to blog about this collaboration, but it's not my fault Calgary always seems to be slightly delayed when it comes to keeping up with fashion. The Matthew Williamson for H&M collection hit the sales floor just today - and thankfully I was able to pop by just before work. I ended up being a couple minutes late actually, all because I wanted needed to get my hands on something; what made it worse was the fact that they couldn't hold anything from the collection so I was incredibly rushed. Hopefully once I get back from Van, I can actually take some time to try on some of the other pieces (if there are any left by then). Although I actually find myself quite confident that there will be, since shoppers here in Calgary compared to New York or any other of the openings are way more nonchalant, or dare I say clueless; dozens of girls walked by the collection not even knowing what was going on! Shame shame. But more for me. Also a little disappointed we didn't get a lot of the anticipated pieces seen in pictures that surfaced the internet prior to the actual release (like this Silk Mix Electric Blue Suit!), but otherwise quite satisfied with what I ended up getting:
