It's Coming To Town

The delicate snowflakes that we got the other day
10.07.09

So harmless and pretty. But like how almost everything else in the world is "bad" in excess, soon too will that apply to snow.

The Magic Of Disney

On Friday morning, my family and I will be jetsetting down to Orlando, FL for a much needed week-long vacation. 22, 19 and 15 aren't the prime ages to take your kids to Disneyworld but fuck it, I'm just excited to spend some time together. Seems like nowadays we're all over the place addressing our own current issues... can't wait to just get lost in the Magic of Disney. All over again.

To Zip, Or Knot To Zip

When being "lazy" has its advantage: supposedly she was tired of zipping up her boots,

so she knotted them instead...

Your Mom

Vintage Mom's old Lacoste dress shirt, Wilfred black high-waisted skirt,

Robyn Cameron for Aritzia cashmere scarf, Vintage Mom's tights.

  • Intentionally mismatched buttons; inspired by photos I saw from Trovata F/W09. (Photo 1 | Photo 2)
  • I love going through her closet -- regardless of being different sizes (that dress shirt is a size 8), I still manage to find things that I love, that somehow fit me. Or in this case, things that I can wear oversized.
  • Vintage Lacoste? Classic. Light blue? My fave. Big ass sleeves? Rolled them up.
  • The scarf I'm wearing is actually part of a limited edition artist series that Aritzia did a while back, a collab with Robyn Cameron. It featured her artwork on items such as t-shirts, tank tops, etc., but these scarves in particular never actually hit the sales floor; they were made exclusively for the staff and given to everyone as Christmas presents.
  • Size is nothing to the Universe.

Temporary

... waiting on someone with the best skills I know to make me a sick banner via Adobe Photoshop, for now we'll have to make do with the one that's up right now. But trust me, the new one will be worth the wait. =)

GGGB 4sks #3: Love It Or Leave It? (PT.2)

BANG BANG. An image of Rihanna showing off her new gun tattoo(s) surfaced the internet just today, and despite the haters who think it's tacky, I personally like the idea -- girl makes anything look dope. Done by artist Bang Bang in Los Angeles.

Smoke

Introducing: Elias Tahan Photography. Seriously, do yourself a favor and visit his portfolio; the rest of his projects are absolutely breathtaking. So raw and real. I would post them all on GGGB, but like I said, rather you do yourself myself a favor and just visit his website (linked @ bottom), haha.
