These shorts that I bought at the Barney's in Florida may as well be glued onto my legs. Can't. Take. Them. Off. Hope I haven't made my (ggg)uests uncomfortable with the impromptu shot of my back side, but I'd like to think that these guys do wonders in terms of being flattering. It's not everyday you find a pair of denim shorts with great craftsmanship and thoughtful attention to detail... big surprise there, Marc.
Denim. The ultimate style staple and for some, the ultimate investment. Imagine an entire store dedicated to it and low and behold you have dutil. - a denim boutique just shy of 3 years old. Within this short time, it has become one of of the most influential destinations for premium denim in North America, carrying a strong mix of directional brands (Nudie Jeans, JBrands, Earnest Sewns...), but still stays true to its roots and carries the original classics as well. Even more exciting, GGGB is thrilled to report that dutil. is working on their very own jean which is expected to hit the market place later in the year.
Finally, our website has been updated. Complete with video footage of the S/S09 Fashion Show (the same one I attended), its very own blog, and my favorite part: this season's Must-Haves. For example...
Lately I've been alternating between the same 3 pairs of jeans (my SFAM Roxanne's, my ES Decca's, and my ES black Harlan's) - all in which are dark, crisp tapered denim that obviously go well with pretty much anything I decide to pair with them. But! With Spring making its way into the city of Calgary (slowly, but surely), I decided that I need to lighten things up a bit. Be a little messy. I want to relaxxx. Doesn't that scream Los Angeles lifestyle? LA based Current Elliott's arrived at my work a couple of weeks ago, and it was a much anticipated launch having already seen them in photos of celeb's like Lindsay and Katie. Normally I'm not one to indulge in the "Destroyed" look, but when they pair it with the word "Loved" in front of it, my heart flutters a little, and I just can't resist.
