Oh So Secretive

{wildfoxcouture}

There is something awesome about our silly little personalities and annoying quirks... something lovely. Next time when you get to talking about bad habits, remember your own and love yourself for them.”

Invasion

I never used to like watching anything Sci-Fi. Never would've thought that I'd be a sucker for robots, outerspace, or aliens for that matter but look at me now! I am strangely attracted to Spock and sometimes I'll randomly make those noises that Transformers make while, uh, transforming. And especially after seeing District 9, now I'm seriously fascinated and totally into movies like these. Am I the only who CRIED in that movie? Gosh.

The Magic Of Disney

On Friday morning, my family and I will be jetsetting down to Orlando, FL for a much needed week-long vacation. 22, 19 and 15 aren't the prime ages to take your kids to Disneyworld but fuck it, I'm just excited to spend some time together. Seems like nowadays we're all over the place addressing our own current issues... can't wait to just get lost in the Magic of Disney. All over again.

DIY: Spike Your Havaiana's

{bleachblack}

When it comes to DIY projects, it is with no doubt that the girls over at Bleach Black kill at it. Their latest one arose from their boredom with summer's footwear (gladiators, um gladiators, more gladiators), so Valerie took to her trusty havaiana's and attacked them with some spikes. See the whole tutorial here.

GGG to Vancity #7: Inexpensive Thrills

tee by AZFN.

I love being caught off guard with simple yet such genius designs such as this oversized pocket just dead-on in the middle of the shirt. It's like it's not supposed to be there yet it is perfectly supposed to be there at the same time. Who better to come up with that than William Anzevino and Richard Florence, the fashion duo known for their juxtaposition? By far one of my favorite (and funnest) pieces I own, and also not so surprising to me that it's from the Men's collection but as soon as my boyf saw it he knew I'd think it was sick.

sandals by sam edelman.

There was a section of the store that was dedicated to "last pairs" and after I had already purchased my tee, one of the girls decided (tactically, I'm sure) to ask what size feet I had, and from then on I figured it was destiny that both last pairs were itty bitty size 5's. I'm still totally into the whole tribal idea and from the intricate bead detailing to the real pony hair used on these giada's... the shoe just fit. I apologize for my lame attempt at turning this story into a modern day Cinderalla... but sometimes shopping is just that. Oh and another noteable feature: rear zip in the back? Don't we all love easy access these days.

Couldn't Get Enough

"T-shirt by Raquel Allegra."
I'm thinking of shredding this shirt from Zara, but I'm a little scared I'll do it wrong and wreck it, which would cause me great grief (oh, good grief Charlie Brown) because it's one of my favorite shirts. Hmm... gotta test my shredding skills out on some old rags first and I'll let you know how it turns out.

The Superficial, on Chris Brown and his old new girlfriend victim

To Zip, Or Knot To Zip

When being "lazy" has its advantage: supposedly she was tired of zipping up her boots,

so she knotted them instead...

Talking In Third Person

Cartoons based on 32 Facebook status messages of artist Marissa Falco's friends, for The Sketchbook Project. Makes you realize how weird and useless they kind of actually are, but anyways these were my favorites.

The Bossini Aquavolo

I'm posting this because in the last couple of days the showerhead in my bathroom has gone insanepsycho and I wish I could replace it with the Aquavolo. I don't know what happened but all of a sudden the pressure of the water got super high and I should be hopping in it right now to get ready but I really don't want to because it hurts. If I had the Aquavolo it would be calming like the rainfall or soothing like a waterfall. Instead it's more like a hailstorm. This is a pretty useless post but a very serious matter nonetheless. It's like when you're staying in a hotel and the showerhead just isn't the same as the one at home; it throws off your my day.
