A Girl's Best Friends

{fashionsquad, knighttcat, unknown}

I'm positive I have something like this courtesy of half of my life in dance competitions... the search is ON!

Je Suis Noir

So angry, should've bought those Frye boots at my work when I had the chance. Would've gotten them at a wicked price too, I'm sad. =(

The ingenious heel of LD Tuttle, seen here on my two favorites: the Spectre and the Creature, respectively. A chunky heel that I actually don't mind, they're actually 4" but you can't even tell. Former ballerina Tiffany Tuttle's shoes are made in Italy, and boasts a fanbase that includes, and I quote legitimately: Erin Wasson (!), Natalia Vodianova (!!), and Mary-Kate Olsen (!!!). And now me too, obviously.

The Jeffrey Campbell "No Tip" oxford. Something new to try... although these remind me of my tap shoes. Makes me wonder if I could DIY it because I have so many old pairs that are missing screws and who's taps are falling off anyways, haha.

Spring 2009: Bangle Towers

This is going to be my new project: I need to own all of these!!!

Prefer Silver & Tribal, over Bejeweled

Okay...I just want to own all of these. Well maybe the new project will be finding ones that at least look like these. That's the best I can do; aww, I'm sad. But really I am due for some new jewelry, and now more than ever I think I'm ready to invest and actually take care in key pieces instead of randomly purchasing a ring/bracelet here and there (and losing it the next day). I'll be posting a wishlist soon, stay tuned.

Creative Anthropology

Model, Style Muse AND Designer Erin Wasson

I found the above photo of Erin to be a perfect way to begin the evolution of my own blog. Although it's overlooked, I enjoy and am amused by tees that intuitively make use of the English language's homonyms. That quote is sick, so badass!

Maybe it's just me but when I read her shirt, I imagine this:

and that's the dopeness of playing with words.
