Spotlight On The Bunny

So I bought this long-sleeved "waffle" dress the other day... turns out it's "basically a thermal, Babe". This is true. Oh well, the better to stay warm during snowboarding season my dear. Hmm, I'll show you guys my board one day. That was my dope birthday present for my 19th and I really want to just use the shit out of it (with TLC) this year. :) Speaking of birthdays... my Boyfriend's, his brother's girlfriend AND my Mom's are all this coming Friday. Life is full of coinkidinks, guys. I love my Madeline for taking my shift for me (since somehow I totally forgot to book that night off) so now I have alll night to spend with them. Anyways, enjoy the silly pictures! This little bunny is off to go study.

DIY: Spike Your Havaiana's

{bleachblack}

When it comes to DIY projects, it is with no doubt that the girls over at Bleach Black kill at it. Their latest one arose from their boredom with summer's footwear (gladiators, um gladiators, more gladiators), so Valerie took to her trusty havaiana's and attacked them with some spikes. See the whole tutorial here.

Couldn't Get Enough

"T-shirt by Raquel Allegra."
I'm thinking of shredding this shirt from Zara, but I'm a little scared I'll do it wrong and wreck it, which would cause me great grief (oh, good grief Charlie Brown) because it's one of my favorite shirts. Hmm... gotta test my shredding skills out on some old rags first and I'll let you know how it turns out.

10 Things From Today #7: Numb Eyes, Rollerblades and Veggie Pizza

  1. Dr. numbed my eyes with these eyedrops this morning; they felt so lazy all day, didn't help for studying at all.
  2. The boyf came over for what was supposed to be my 30min study break, but turned out to be buying and dropping off flowers for his mom's birthday, studying at his house, and hitting up Sport Chek with the guys to finally buy equipment. An easy 4hrs gone that couldve been used more productively, but oh well because I have all night.
  3. I also saw rollerblades on sale while we were there, I wanted to get them so bad... but really, I've used my hockey skates only once, plus Summer isn't even close (that's me justifying to myself why not to get them).
  4. The fam is ordering in tonight; I'm pumped to stay home, study, and eat pizza.
  5. Kamikaze has been in a dilemma lately: lead role in West Side Story or The Outriders?
  6. It's been one week so boyf got his stitches out today, yuck.
  7. I wonder who 4nonymous' Father is.
  8. I found a pair of old tap shoes! They are all scuffed up and one shoe is already missing the heel tap. Perfect to turn them into black oxfords I can wear. You'll see =)
  9. Need to grip March's issues of magazines, I'll do that on my break tmrw.
  10. "GUESS WHAT I'M EATING RIGHT NOW..." What? "Pizza, Vegetarian Pepperoni." (Day 10/40, good job beb)

Je Suis Noir

So angry, should've bought those Frye boots at my work when I had the chance. Would've gotten them at a wicked price too, I'm sad. =(

The ingenious heel of LD Tuttle, seen here on my two favorites: the Spectre and the Creature, respectively. A chunky heel that I actually don't mind, they're actually 4" but you can't even tell. Former ballerina Tiffany Tuttle's shoes are made in Italy, and boasts a fanbase that includes, and I quote legitimately: Erin Wasson (!), Natalia Vodianova (!!), and Mary-Kate Olsen (!!!). And now me too, obviously.

The Jeffrey Campbell "No Tip" oxford. Something new to try... although these remind me of my tap shoes. Makes me wonder if I could DIY it because I have so many old pairs that are missing screws and who's taps are falling off anyways, haha.

10 Things From Today #3: $75, Prestige Worldwide and Coughing Chloe

  1. It's Thursday already, not excited for the weekend because I know what's to follow once it ends. (SCHOOL)
  2. Decided to pick up a 9-4 shift yesterday, after realizing my expenditures almost overtake my earnings. =/ I did however find a Danscott paycheck for $75 in my purse, gotta cash that big one in.
  3. PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE begins! I genuinely enjoy being at the sidelines and watching; as long as I'm prepared, warm and have a hot chocolate I will be (already am) your biggest fan.
  4. Currently still in a state of bodily pain from boarding and yoga; I love it.
  5. DIY project in the works: denim display for the boyf's room. Went to JYSK and Rona on Tuesday but had no luck finding what we needed. Trip to Ikea maybe? (!!!)
  6. More Than Words, Hero, Officially Missing You: songs in rotation on the guitar/the only songs we know which is why they're in rotation.
  7. Chloe doesn't know how to cover her mouth when she coughs, I'm crossing my fingers I don't catch that shit too. LOL
  8. I made myself a bagel and stuck scrambled eggs in it this morning; yup, the joys of waking up at 11AM and having nothing better to do.
  9. Pretty jealous of your sick update/reconstructed look, haha.
  10. Only boring people get bored.

You Complete Me

MY OTHER HALF. Possibly my next DIY, because I don't think you can order these yet. I am truly grateful that my boyf is cheesy with me and puts up with all of the cute little couple things that I love to do.
