I've posted about them hella but really the girls over at Wildfox seriously kill at marketing and presenting their brand. Makes me want to head in that direction, if only it was always this fun. Their photoshoots that they openly release (here at Wildfox Photoshoots, plus their Photobucket account isn't locked?) several times a year are always so damn California cool... not to mention that I think for most of them they do the photography themselves as well as have their own beautiful, gorgeous angel friends do the modeling for them. They are such an inspiration. Pretty Tough

After seeing this editorial, I thought right away that the time has come for me to get a pair of boots like these for Fall. Uggs just can't cut it for me anymore (wait until it gets -40° out and I'll be wishing I hadn't said that, I have 3 pairs for a reason). Obviously, the whole idea behind this "Pretty Tough" theme is juxtaposition. Think more feminine pieces (the pretty) up top, and these bad boys down below (the tough). Well, I tried some Doc Martins on the other day and on my itty bitty size 5 feet, I guess you could say they looked a little less moto-chic and a bit too much Ronald Mcdonald. Couple days later, while on a random stop to Sunridge Mall with my boyfriend while waiting for some pictures to be developed, low and behold I found a pair there in the right shape, size, and price point I wanted. Jackpot, as per usual thanks to H&M.

Most people underestimate the power of nudity. There's something about having the opportunity to or being able to create this illusion of being Au Naturel without actually baring it all. Pales, nudes, light creams... I'm all over it. And even though you may soon lose your Summer glow - sorry, this palette is here to stay for Fall. Ask me if it "washes" you out one more time and see what happens...

Invasion

I never used to like watching anything Sci-Fi. Never would've thought that I'd be a sucker for robots, outerspace, or aliens for that matter but look at me now! I am strangely attracted to Spock and sometimes I'll randomly make those noises that Transformers make while, uh, transforming. And especially after seeing District 9, now I'm seriously fascinated and totally into movies like these. Am I the only who CRIED in that movie? Gosh.
