Here You Go

  • Kanye, is dat chu?!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRmmu5tZfHs
  • Made it home from Sunridge Spectrum in 15 minutes last night, watching F&F prior to the drive home made me think that I'm badass going 150 on John Laurie...
  • So we all agree that we have a friend who is pretty much Vin Diesel?
  • Another year of university and I still haven't been to Thursden. Unbelievable.
  • Bermuda Shorts Day 2009
  • Snowboarding season @ COP is officially over come Sunday, wish I could've gone more.
  • Dark hair, tanned skin, naturally blue eyes = Gorgeous
  • On The Uku: Wonderful Tonight (well the first 3 notes of it anyway)
  • Still need to go pick up my chain from Tiffany & Co., making it down to TD isn't as much of a frequency of mine as is for you guys. Someone pick it up for meee, haha.
  • Impulse purchase, Feel guilty, Return?
  • Time you are flying by way too fast for my liking...
  • You have a course ready to be evaluated. I never do those.
  • Haven't pulled out the Fisheye for a while, transition from Winter to Spring should be perfect timing.
  • You're almost done classes! No, I still have a Block Death Week course and a Spring course left. =/
  • INEEDAVACATION.
  • How much money do you actually get by putting up an Adsense? Hmm

Fashionably Late

DID IT START ALREADY?! Kanye arriving at the Jeremy Scott F/W09 show on Saturday, March 7 2009 in Paris. He didn't actually miss the show, but the pictures totally look like he did and he just looks down right pissed... hahaha

Dope JS sweater though. =)

Head To Toe

I'm sure you know who this is... Kanye's new girl, Amber Rose at Paris Fashion Week wearing the Alexander Wang S/S09 dress, with a Louis Vuitton clutch and shoes. What a sugar daddy, of course he chose to shower her with LV. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if she bought it all herself; girrrl looks so fierce and independent. I guess you gotta be in the stripper industry =/.

Kanye who?

That's what designer Vivienne Westwood was wondering after the rapper introduced himself to her during London Fashion Week. Yeezy rushed over to Westwood after her runway show and gushed that he's a fan - but after he left, the British fashionista and avant-garde designer had to ask her pal who Kanye was, shrugging, "I think he's famous in America."

YOU THINK?! Aww, that hurts my heart a little bit though. Poor Ye; he will probably blog about it. (using CAPS, ..., and !!!)

My Heart Won't Lego

Inspiration for post: FN's outfit that he wore to The GSM (General Staff/Sales Meeting).

Dee and Ricky, 21-year old twin brothers from Staten Island are the young designers behind the Pixelated Lego Heart Brooch. You may have seen it gracing the chest of Kanye West during the promotion of 808s and Heartbreaks, but otherwise this childhood-inspired creation had kick started another major highlight for the brothers: their work styled a Marc by Marc Jacobs runway show (Spring 2008). When asked on how this opportunity of a lifetime came about, this is what they had to say, word for word =/:

"Yeah, Dee and Ricky made that show really pop with those accessories, we killed em. They didn’t even see us coming. My Boy Matt Bananas threw this party in the Hamptons for Camp Beverly Hills, Dee and Ricky rolled there & we met this boy Jay Peezy (Jason Preston), dude be chilling with Marc Jacobs & such… Jason saw some belts we were rocking & he placed an order. We dropped them off to him the next day. He call us back later that night like, YO! Marc loves the belts! He wants Dee and Ricky to style the runway show at the Armory. We were like whoa! Also his show was like in the next 8 days so we had to work really fast & hard, We made a bunch of samples & a couple of special pieces for the models. Everything we brought in they loved. Marc was going nuts." - Taken from an interview with Fredflare.com

Naturally Man-Made

Spotted on the city streets of Vancouver. (Robson St. x Granville St.)

It reminded me of Paul Graves' Balloon Sculpture Series. The following one is my favorite... kind of feels a litle Kanye, no?
