Dancing with my father on my grad night
Reservations at La Viena restaurant tonight @ 7PM for four (sans mom, she's halfway around the world right now)... just a quick post before I indulge in some Italian!

I'm not quite sure what this is, I think it's the legal aspect of their marriage? Regardless, I love how casual and personal it is, despite it being a seemingly important event. Nobody else in the room but them, their best friends as witnesses (Tito Rolly & Tita Dominique, whom we still go visit in LA when we have a chance), and the man with the black bow tie to make the paperwork all official.

NYE in the Philippines is way more dope there than here. Stroke of midnight and not only are you surrounded by generations of family, but the streets are filled with colorful fireworks, lighting up the sky so beautifully that you almost forget about the lifestyle differences between what I call home and what my parents called home. I need to go back there again; wish my mom could take me with her today.

I walked into my Parents' room this morning to go and look in my Mom's closet ("Vintage Shopping") and as I made my way thru the door, past the dressers, into their hallway, what is normally something I merely glance at and walk past, for a particular reason caught my eye this morning. My Mom and Dad's wedding photo, circa 1986.

HAHAHA for some reason they have a picture of me plastered alongside their wedding photo; I have no idea why or how long it's been up there but it's so random and made me laugh to myself. Great way to start my morning. Have a good day!
