J'♥ Wildfox

I've posted about them hella but really the girls over at Wildfox seriously kill at marketing and presenting their brand. Makes me want to head in that direction, if only it was always this fun. Their photoshoots that they openly release (here at Wildfox Photoshoots, plus their Photobucket account isn't locked?) several times a year are always so damn California cool... not to mention that I think for most of them they do the photography themselves as well as have their own beautiful, gorgeous angel friends do the modeling for them. They are such an inspiration. Raise your hand if you wanna be a Wildfox girl! *raises hand* Anyways, they recently posted the latest set, titled "15 Things To Do When You're Really Bored" and here they are, feel free to follow these guidelines during Reading Week:

this technique is widely known in the blogosphere,
a famous DIY that many have tested and tried alike
IT TAKES DEDICATION, SKILL AND PATIENCE KIDS!

Fall Preview

Yesterday night, "we" (as in not me... since yesterday was my day off) shipped all or what was left of our Spring/Summer merchandise away. GOOD RIDDANCE! So what to do with a now empty Sale wall? Br-br-bring in more of the Fall merchandise, of course. Out with the old and in with the new. Take a look at our Fall Preview lookbook:

Sophomore NYC Zipper Dress

ZIPPERS. I love this (and Jen Brill) -- it's so simple and doesn't require any extra thought or effort. It's rather amusing how something like a piece of fabric combined with a single zipper can be such a coveted item.

Finally, our website has been updated. Complete with video footage of the S/S09 Fashion Show (the same one I attended), its very own blog, and my favorite part: this season's Must-Haves. For example...

The linen boyfriend blazer.

The oversized tee.

The tie dye bra.

The high-waisted leather legging.

The slouchy boyfriend jean. (Check)

The boyfriend denim shorts.

The silk tee dress.

The oversized hooded flannel.

The low-armole tank.

The skinny, slouchy jeans.

Zarafshan Collection by Tina Kalivas

I fell in love with the bright embroidered top in the first picture after seeing Tallulah wear it in the magazine spreads I posted of her. I decided to look up the designer, and came across Kalivas' line "Zarafshan"; which is inspired by the tribal culture of Afghanistan. The bright colors, heavy embroidery, muted khaki tones are all inspired by Afghan women.

Sophomore NYC Tees

FROM FALL 08. Especially feeling the VERY ILL tee, that is so sick. The NEW YORK CRIMES and STAY GOLD ones follow after but are just as dope. Not to mention that Jen Brill is my new girl crush so these shirts look even better haha. See the rest of the collection here.

Elizabeth and James Spring 2009 Lookbook

The Olsen twins have been an inspiration to many girls ever since they could walk and talk. Shortly after their peak (and downfall, haha) in the entertainment industry, they began to become renown for something other than acting on television or in movies: for their street style. FINALLY, seeking to narrow the gap between designer and contemporary clothing, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen act as muses and co-designers on this new fashion label. Again it is inspired by the mix of uptown and downtown, masculine and feminine, and casual and dressy; the collection is unique in the mixture of androgynous menswear inspired blazers and shirts with delicate mini-dresses, feminine detailing, sequins and unusual fabrics. Their jewelry is pretty tough, too. Introducing: Elizabeth and James, and my personal favorites of the collection creatively put together just for you. =)

Adicolor To Your Life

The Women's Adidas Originals S/S 2009 Lookbook released and hit the net and street blogs a couple of months ago... but looking outside now with snow still on the ground, even putting this up late still feels like bad timing. Oh well! We've got some of these jackets in already at work, don't know if I'm down for expanding my track jacket collection anymore though. There are better things to spend my money on, plus Project Rebel needs me to eliminate all unncessary spending. Anyways, enjoy the splash of Adicolor's to start off your day, it is a "lookbook" after all.
