Quickie

• Just came back from my Sociology final, killed it.
• Got away without paying for parking, once again. Saving money errrday!
  
• Now for the hard part... planning to stay up until the early morn in an attempt to be semi-prepared for my Accounting final tomorrow at noon. At least my sister is keeping me company; likewise she's studying for her (senior) Accounting final tomorrow too.
  
• But with the bad, life still manages to throw us the good: Payday, official possession of the Rebel, Mom comes home, TGIF, but most importantly a day/night off -- away from the books.

• Chloe just learnt the concept of knock-knock jokes; so far she knows the "Boo-who?" (aw, don't cry) and "Ah-who?" (bless you!) ones.
• While waiting for my caramel frap at Starbucks/Chapters the other day, I came across this dope, little independent fashion magazine who's name I forget. Gotta make it back there sometime to buy it read it without paying for it. Again, GGGB is saving money errrday! LOL

Unlikely Pair

Mackage leather jacket, Wilfred light-wash cropped denim jacket, AA seamless tank top in cream, black bandeau and nylon tricot leggings, H&M scarf.

• I have been wearing this denim jacket all weekend. To work, to the bar, to school! After many unsuccessful attempts at trying to find the perfect one (UO, American Eagle, even the Gap), I was definitely excited to see this Wilfred one in at work. $75, not bad for a basic I know I'm going to wear hella.
  
• Recently I've noticed the use of a denim jacket under other jackets. On the Runway (DSQUARED²), in photos via The Sartorialist, etc. So I thought I'd try it; it actually wasn't that bad although it was a little uncomfortable writing notes in class today. Movement is a little restricted haha.
  
• Remember when I posted about how I had "yet to find an outfit" to wear with my AA leggings? Call it an epiphany or whatever, but all of a sudden I can't seem to NOT wear these. They almost go with everything now.
  
• I need to trim my bangs!

LIGHT PLAID. It's when the sun is shining thru my bedroom window in the morning that I think to dress like this... and then I get outside and remember that Winter still isn't over and that the air is still freezing. How deceiving, or maybe I'm just too hopeful. Anyways, have 4 good day!

10 Things From Today #1: Snow, School & Rihanna

1. I didn't even realize it was snowing today (my blinds were closed), until I read The FPOE while blowdrying my hair this morning. So much for my "nice weather" post yesterday.
2. I bought a Noodle Time bowl for lunch and when I went to fill it up with hot water, I walked to the coffee dispenser instead and didn't notice until I had already poured some coffee in. [insert those 3 letters here, you know which ones]
3. Gunna have to miss this week's class again, sorry Mina. See you next week though babe, promise! LOL
4. Current state of mind: Prioritizing
5. Came to school without the laptop, and have come to realize that I focus so much better without it (obvs). Along with miPhone, both are self-induced distractions that I need to get rid of, so from here on in I'm banning myself from bringing them to lectures. Wish me luck!
6. The boyf got his internet connection working =); 3 more days left.
   
7. 50's started at work this week; great, another temptation to spend money.
8. Is it weird that I emailed my PSYC professor a Youtube link to this video after learning about the Perception of Optical Illusions? The answer is yes, but I did it anyways.
9. I purchased the American Apparel black Nylon Tricot leggings; I have yet to find an outfit to make them work.
10. Still unable to wrap my head around the CB x Rihanna news.
