Need this exact little sparkly number in my Life... really, this is all I want from this collaboration. It would be perfect for your staff Christmas party (Dec. 6th), your outfit to meet Gabe (Dec.12th), your 4yr anniversary date (Dec.18th), your New Years Eve par... shoot, somewhere in there I made it all about me, huh? Well, special occasions aside, lately in the mornings I've been looking into my closet, only to be staring at everything - completely uninspired. And unsparkly (hmph). I feel like it is a famine of beauty in there right now... A FAMINE OF BEAUTY, HONEY! Hmm... the wallet does seem to be "full-er" though, however. Are we making the appropriate causal connections here? Yay, go me.

My room however is 10x worse. But to be honest I actually love Spring Cleaning. There's something about going thru my belongings and being stuck in my room for hours while the sun is shining that I genuinely enjoy... sounds imprisoning but once I get started I just can't stop. I've heard it before and it's true that you feel so much more centered when your room is in tact, plus it's liberating getting rid of useless clutter. The majority of my time however is spent organizing my clothes and making sure the closet is up-to-date. By that I mean that I have a lot of things I don't wear, and every year I make something good out of this and put them in bags for my Mom to send back home to the Philippines. My dad always says that before I buy something new, I need to counteract it and get rid of something old. Not always the case, but he makes a good point.



I'll have to literally set a date aside to do my Spring Cleaning, in the meantime my room reflects my life right now dead-on: laissez-faire and scattered. AH!

"We all need somebody to look at us. We can be divided into four categories according to the kind of look we wish to live under.



The first category longs for the look of an infinite number of Anonymous eyes; in other words, for the look of the public.



The second category is made up of people who have a vital need to be looked at by many Known eyes. They are the tireless hosts of cocktail parties and dinners.



Then there is the third category, the category of people who need to be constantly before the eyes of the person they love. Their situation is as dangerous as that of people in the second category. One day the eyes of their beloved will close, and they'll have no one else to live before.
