Apologies for the lack of lovin' here on GGGB... I've had the week off of work and have found myself wanting to be productive in ways other than being inside on the internet, like by watching cinnamon challenges, playing cranium, going for early morning breakfasts, getting mani's & pedi's, bowling, thinking Monday was Saturday... you know...
Friday night was spent watching another Prestige practice, it was the perfect opportunity for me to test out the camera even more (as if I hadn't enough already that night), and I have to admit that taking sick action shots is difficult. I still have a good feeling about this and am confident enough in my ability to learn so that as the season progresses, one will notice the hockey photos only getting better from here. Us girls may not be on the ice, but we all have a part on the team! Photographer, Gatorade Girl, The Bringer of food/candy/snacks, and any others that may arise or be placed upon us unknowingly throughout the season.
I'm supposed to be studying... Moving on, something very unnecessary and annoying is occurring in my life thru constant text messages, calls and rendezvous', those in which are creating stress that I'm sure at this point in time (finals) I do not need right now. If I knew you were going to be this much of a hassle, I wouldn't have done this for you in the first place. There shouldn't be a fine line between "business" and a "favor for a friend"; but thank you for confirming that I would much rather have the former than the latter, as I don't think I'd like to call you a friend anymore.
In preparation for Block Week, the professor of the course that I'm taking feels the need to send us daily e-mails. The one I got this morning went like this: "Block Week is rigorous. Plan on following a routine or system of attending class each day, postponing television, outside employment and social engagements until after the course, and getting good sleeps and eats."
Mom's finally home from the Philippines/Las Vegas, Dad left this morning for Phoenix again. Wish they would take us with them, but I'm not bitter because most of the time we can't book off work or miss school and so it's our own circumstances that prevent us from being able to go. But last night, Mom came into my room asking whether I'd be able to take a week off in July, and another two weeks off in December. Um, hell yes I would be able to and if not I would do all that I could to make it possible, if it means going on vacay!!! Nothing's confirmed, but let's just say family trips may be in the works, which would undoubtedly satisfy the repetitive words of "I need a vacation" that come out of my mouth every day.
Hopefully that should be enough text to break up the slew of visual overload on GGGB, back to studying!

Perfect way to end the first week of April. Woke up alongside my boyf for the second time in a row this weekend and (un)fortunately we slept in until 1PM in the afternoon. Some would think that this would be a waste of a day; but to be honest I couldn't be happier just having the opportunity to do so. Besides, that's what Sunday's are for and this is my only day that I can be like this. Babe cooked us some breakfast brunch: scrambled eggs with cheese and sausages, while his meal consisted sans the meat (1 more week) and substituted a grilled cheese instead.
Surprisingly after the fact that already half our day was gone, we still managed to be productive and enjoy our day together in the amazing weather. I actually stayed at his house and finished off the ACCT Assignment #2 (that was due today) while Matty and him took about 11 garbage bags full of bottles and cans to the depot. $63 contributed to the Prestige Worldwide Jersey fund. Hockey is madd expensive, so even that little bit goes a long way for the Team.
4PM rolls around and the boyf gets back, my assignment is completed, and we're still in sweats and haven't showered... my outfit for the day? Forgot to bring an extra set of clothes to wear. Borrowed a shirt from him again, and luckily I had a pair of Nudie's in my trunk. Ohhh, that's where they've been these past couple of months.

Triple Chocolate Ice Cream via Tastee's. First time in months that we've made our way down to get my favorite flavor of all time, as the weather yesterday permitted. It was at this point that I knew it was finally Spring: I was eating ice cream, it was around 5PM and it was still gorgeous outside!
Watched a movie to pass time. Pillow talk. 8:45PM hits which means it's time for practice @ NESS. As per usual: girls in the bleachers, boys on the ice. From a spectator point of view, everyone is noticeably improving and the games are getting more and more fast-paced. =)
Practice was only an hour and a half long; which meant that we would make it back to Ray's just in time to pick up snacks via Mac's, and watch this week's episode of Breaking Bad airing @ 11PM. Yet again, that show leaves us hanging and anxiously waiting for next week.
As per usual, the weekend flew by and inevitably Sunday has arrived. Like I said I wasn't looking forward to this weekend because already it's over and tomorrow is Back To School. And not the BTS that's almost a little secretly exciting because you get to buy new school supplies (so fun) or a new fall wardrobe (that ur parents pay for); this is the BTS that follows just one short break that's notoriously otherwise known as Suicide Prevention week, meant for students to catch up in their courses and chill out for a bit before they literally STFU (stress the f out). Poor me, I didn't catch up and am stressing the f out because I didn't study once during these past 7 days... but Reading Week 09 nonetheless was much needed and well spent non-academically.
FRIDAY:
Prestige Worldwide had it's 3rd practice this week! This time during the day which was a nice change, not to mention we had the whole Hamptons rink to ourselves so it was sick. I gave in to no longer just being benched during practices, so JA and I actually went to go buy our own sets of skates so we could join in on the ice. (Boys sz 3.5, $79.99!) Had an after-practice late lunch at Bobby Chao's, chilled and slept at the boyf's; cue Saturday.
SATURDAY:
Worked from 2PM until 9PM, drove down to the dirty south to JA's house to celebrate the news on getting an interview, ate Mcdonald's, drank Tequila, played drinking games, watched Zack and Miri Make A Porno; cue Sunday.
SUNDAY:
Slept in until about 10AM, late lunch date at The Olive Garden with the boyf, caught up with an old buddy on shift at the Home Depot, gawked at the CRXSi at Best Buy, watched The 81st annual Oscars Awards ceremony; unfortunately cue Monday...
