I've always wanted a pair of SFAM denim shorts, and regardless of these being slightly huge around the waist on me I'm rather satisfied with them. Besides, like I've said before: If you're gunna do the "Boyfriend" thing, what better than to legitimately use your Boyfriend's Things?

Although most often reliable and handy when it comes to picking a place to eat when you and your friends just can't decide, the iPhone app Urban Spoon is NOT ALWAYS trustworthy in the suggestions it gives. I posted earlier yesterday night that we had reservations at this restaurant called La Viena; drove by the place which was tucked into this little corner off of Kensington and I know it's harsh to judge a book by its cover, but we ended up trashing our 7PM reservation and decided to look for something a little more... dare I say: presentable. Besides, the kids were treating Dad out to dinner and you can't blame us for wanting it to be a good one, no?

WEDNESDAY: woke up next to him / made our own breakfasts / sat at the kitchen table, read the newspaper / had a date at the zoo (see photos below) / searched the gift shops for wolf shirts / came extremely close to finding one / got lucky and left before the rain started / came home / watched marley and me / cried. / made a late lunch salad / took an afternoon nap / went to wing night / watched sytycd / j's / saw the hangover / laughed. What I love about summer? ...

About a month back, the night before we left for Vancouver, I got pulled over for the very first time (first time = just like the movies meaning panicking, shuffling thru papers, not being able to find my insurance, boyf in the passenger seat, etc). I do admit I tend to ignore the speed limit most of the time but surprisingly I didn't get pulled over for speeding... "driving an unregistered vehicle" is the unlawful offense that I have committed. Um, well I'm pleading guilty tomorrow, although I'm gunna try to play the I-didn't-get-notified-in-the-mail-that-it-was-going-to-expire-there-should-be-a-grace-period-(it was only 2weeks expired)-I'm-a-poor-student card in hopes that the judge will sympathize for/with me. If all else fails, including pulling out my ugly sad puppy-eyed face, then well, it's not like I could do much with $230 dollars anyways...

Who knew that a "surprise" visit from the CEO & founder of your company could cause so much stress? Even though I'm not working tomorrow for his drop by, I'm working tonight to prep the store for it. Uh if you ask me, I'm not quite sure which one is worse?
